This is a digital downloadble pdf pattern for a Snood like wrap around scarf pattern (snood+Scarf = snarf)
This can be used for adults and older children.
There is a triangular and a curved scarf option – with different width and end finishes. It can be colour blocked making it an excellent scrap buster – or can be sewn plain.
It contains a full photo tutorial with examples; grading advice and 2 A4 printing files for the triangular and curved versions with layer options.
Suitable for a confident beginner.
It comes with a cottage licence. If you join the MotherGrimm facebook group, there is a code to get this pattern for free in the pinned post.
Materials Information
You will need either a sewing machine or an overlocker/serger.
Threads suitable for the stretch /woven fabrics of choice.
Clips or pins.
Top stitching – a walking foot is recommended if using a sewing machine for top stitching.
Fabrics that have been tested for use:
Any knit fabric with some drape (DBP, CL, FT, bamboo etc); minky, fleece, teddy, sherpa
Lightweight woven fabrics – light silks, viscose, rayon etc
Metreage guide
Half a metre by 150cm for front and same for the back – same for all options.
