This is an oversized blanket style, lounging hoodie, with blended sizes. It should come to around knee length depending at the top of the height range.

The ease will vary slightly due to the blended sizes and fabric base used but it is approx 25- 38cm (10-15inches) around the body in the straight sided version. The tapered sides version will have even more ease around the waist and hips but not around the chest.

Materials information:

You will need either a sewing machine with a stretch stitch or an overlocker/serger.
If sewing the pocket and hemming, then you will need a sewing machine.

Unlined option – I suggest a squish minky stretch type or a fleece brushed cotton for warmth and comfort

Lined option – I suggest French terry with whatever lining you want on the inside. They should both have similar stretch to reduce fitting issues.

(Non stretch fleece blankets and similar were used in testing with positive results – as the pattern was not designed for non-stretch, I cannot vouch for it always working, but can say that it has worked.)

Bands and cuffs should be a 50% stretch fabric with good recovery such as cotton lycra. The hood band option must be made from a stretch fabric.

Options include (as shown)

Lined or unlined body (hemmed bottom only).

Tapered or non tapered sides.

Hemmed or cuffed sleeves for lined or unlined.

Two hood shapes- Pixie or round.

Hoods can be fully lined or unlined with a band front option.

Hoods can be lined or unlined on unlined body.

Hoods should be lined on the lined body.
